COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

A long-serving participant in the local community, Ben Gamache has served on the Manchester Chamber of Commerce and as a Board Member for the local Junior Achievement organization. In addition, Gamache is an active member of the Merrimack Chamber of Commerce and; with the recent completion of the Merrimack Village Mall at 416 D.W. Highway, invested in boosting the Merrimack economy.


He has also served as the Chairman of the Board for Intown Manchester, a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the economic vitality of Manchester, N.H.’s downtown area. Intown Manchester's efforts to promote downtown Manchester have been recognized by local, regional and national organizations.


Gamache’s varied experiences at Easter Seals since 2002 combined with his unwavering commitment have laid the groundwork for his 2009 election to the National Easter Seals Board of Directors. Prior to his election to the National Board, he proudly served as Easter Seals New Hampshire’s Chairman of the Board from 2007 to 2009. During Gamache’s tenure as Chairman, Easter Seals New Hampshire achieved impressive growth and created numerous innovative programs. Due to these substantial accomplishments, Easter Seals New Hampshire was given the management responsibility for the Easter Seals operations within three other independent states.

Gamache is a member of the Easter Seals Edgar Allen Founders Society and the Easter Seals Leadership Circle. He has also served on the Easter Seals National Membership & Organizational Structure Committee and the House of Delegates Coordinating Committee.
